EAHCOM’S Future
With each year we look to continuing all the components of the WAR Project and add other related components to further our reach to creating wholeness. Future endeavors of EAHCOM are:
- An annual Wellness Conference to provide tools needed to move towards becoming whole, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
- Transitional Housing for Men
- Transitional Housing for Women
- Transitional Housing for Women with children
- A Skill Center that will train individuals in skills that will make them ready for jobs that will pay the desired amount needed to acquire housing in the Greater Metropolitan Bay Area.

What The W.A.R Project Offers
THE COUNSELING CENTERThe Counseling Center is available to all age groups providing general counseling services for individuals, families and groups. Counseling is also provided for pre-marriage as well as for couples that are already married and in need of marriage repair. Limited mental illness counseling is provided with referral partners for the more severe cases of mental illness.
|
THE ADDICTION SUPPORT GROUPThe addiction support group provides meetings where individuals come together in a safe place of transparency to deal with the various addictions that have hindered them from moving forward in a successful manner. This group is for those 18 and older. We cover in our discussions not only alcohol and substance abuse but behavioral addictions that have developed due to the hurts experienced in one’s life.

THE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
The Leadership Academy is a training and mentorship program for those 13 years and older. The emphasis here is to deal with the whole person; promoting healing from circumstances that can and have hindered participants from becoming effective leaders. The training and mentorship focuses on building character, relationship skills, effective communication skills, learning how to manager anger and move toward conflict resolution, and leadership skills. The goal is to develop effective leader from the inside out.
In 2019, we took 14 senior pastors on retreat for 2 1/2 days to deal with some of the situations that come to spiritual leaders that must be handled even though they themselves may be broken. We covered topics to help
build up their confidence in dealing with the day to day responsibilities of today’s individuals such as relationship issues, suicide, mental illness and partner violence, as well as deep discussions on how to push pass their own brokenness to healing.
We recognize that many hands touch more lives and create healthier communities. As we pass on information we create a partnership of emotionally healed healers. Under the leadership
academy umbrella we look to continue the Senior Pastor’s Retreat as an annual event as well as establish regular intermittent meetings to support pastors in their brokenness and equip them to help others in brokenness.

THE N.E.P.H.E.W PROGRAM
New Empowering Philosophies that Heal Emotional Wounds
The NEPHEW program is focused on outreach to men that have lost hope as a result of losing jobs, families, home and/or the fight with substance abuse and mental illness. Through counseling, group meetings and classes, the old mindset that kept men feeling defeated will be addressed and demolished and new empowering concepts will
be introduced and taught that will empower men to take their rightful place as fathers, leaders of their home and mentors to their sons. Understanding that some of the problems that confront men are
joblessness, homelessness and mental illness we have developed a consortium of agencies that will partner with us to enrich the lives of men as we walk side by side them on their journey to wholeness.
Currently we have the following partners :
With this team and others that see the vision and will join us, we look towards providing assistance with health, casework and court assistance as well as walking along side each man from the day he is no longer incarcerated to the first day of work and the day he moves into a place that he can call his own. One of the responsibilities of EAHCOM is to monitor each person through their journey and provide them with after-care if needed.
